Alles gut.

There are top quality ball point pens, with excellent ink flow and feel in an easy to hold body. Packaged in paper packaging to reduce waste, they’re long lasting and great for school and home. You can get cheaper, but these make up for it in quality.

Any reusable pen is automatically more environmentally friendly than a disposable one, it’s more sustainable using materials sustainably each time you refill it. Stabilo having a relatively so-so reputation for sustainability with the famous highlighters, have gone full over to make a refill pen out of 80%+ bio materials as opposed to oil-based plastics, without compromising on looks, comfortable handling or functionality. It does come in many colours, although Grey-white isn’t that exciting, others are, but in each case the ink deposition and flow was very good. The ink line is a little under 0.5mm , was continuously laid down without gaps, breaks of blotching and didn’t smear when touched. The nib didn’t require excessive pressure to be applied to start writing and there wasn’t a excess of ink around the roller ball. It was good to use, the body is a bit chunkier than usual, the multi-faceted shaft being completed by a rubber grip at the base which was easy to hold and prevented the upper shaft from feeling too unwieldy.
At around3 gbp each, they aren’t too expensive, especially as the refiles they use aren’t Stabilo exclusive and therefore also available in other colours, but the true benefit is that it will keep a good condition longer and the initial outlay not lost of when the ink reservoir runs out.

This is a great affordable refillable pen.
Nice and light. Well balanced the ink flows smoothly and it writes smoothly.
Comfortable to grip and write with.
Simple click mechanism so no lid to lose. I am using this as my handbag pen. I’ve had no issues with it being accidentally clicked open or leaking.
Really pleased with it.

These pens from STABILO arrive in an all cardboard packaging with a nice looking design printed onto it and it’s a breeze to pop it open and remove the pens.
I gave both of the pens a quick test on a half dozen different types of paper from cheap printer paper all the way up to a premium paper notebook and it’s written perfectly on everything. Even in less favourable situations like writing on thin paper placed on skin or a soft mouse mat aren’t an issue for these ballpoints.
The first millimetre or two of writing doesn’t always flow perfectly if the pen has been left unused for a bit or is brand new, but that’s true for almost every new ballpoint pen with an uncapped design. You can prime/clean the dry ink off the ball by scribbling somewhere or just accept that the first bit of writing might be a little lighter than the rest until it clears itself fully, but it’s basically a non-issue in my opinion. I haven’t run into any genuine clogs or issues with the refills and I’ve been using a handful of these paintball pens in a few different colours’ day to day for the last month.
I’ve found the pen’s nib width and the grip placement to be fine for my writing style, it’s a very smooth and comfortable experience even during longer writing sessions and it works great with both light and heavy-handed writing styles. Like any ballpoint pen, you do need to hold the pen as close to upright as possible to let the ball roll freely, but holding it anywhere between 50–90 degrees works great with these.
The refills for these pens are a good bit cheaper than just buying new pens, as you can grab a box of ten refills at 15 quid for blue, black and green or 8 quid for a pack of red refills. So you’re paying somewhere between 80p and £1.50 for a refill, and that’s quite a bit less than the £3.13 you’re paying for each brand-new pen in these two pen multipacks. Changing the ink cartridge couldn’t be any easier and there are no loose springs or parts to worry about, just unscrew the tip, replace the cartridge and screw it back together.

This STABILO pointball is one of those pens that just feels right from the moment you start using it. The ink flows smoothly and consistently, giving a neat 0.5 mm line without skips, smudges or that annoying blob you sometimes get with cheaper ballpoints. It glides across the page easily, which makes long note-taking sessions or quick work scribbles feel much quicker and cleaner.
The slightly chunkier barrel took me a minute to get used to, but the rubberised, non-slip grip makes it surprisingly comfortable, especially if you’re writing for long periods or don’t have the strongest grip. The design is simple but smart, and the coloured grip/clicker makes it easy to pick the right pen at a glance. It also takes standard refills, which is a big plus, and the fact that the body is made from 87% bio-based plastic is a nice step in the right direction environmentally.
There’s a tiny bit of drag if you write at a very low angle, but for most people it won’t be noticeable. Overall, it’s a reliable, smooth-writing pen that feels good in the hand and should last for ages thanks to the refillable design. Not the cheapest option out there, but the quality, comfort and eco-friendly build make it well worth it if you write a lot.

This is a lovely set of 4 ball point pens from Stabilo, a reputable brand They have a nice soft touch rubber surface to them which make them nice to hold. The ink comes nicely, doesn’t easily smudge and the pens have a good amount of ink within them so i’m sure would last a long time. At just under £3 per pen its reasonably good value for the quality. They come in a standard blue, green, black and red colours and are apparently very eco friendly.
Overall these are really nice pens and worth a purchase
